At HCMCC, I focus on Targeted Therapeutic Massage to address the underlying causes of pain, injury, and movement restrictions. Each treatment is tailored to meet your body's individual needs, utilizing myofascial techniques and therapeutic Swedish massage techniques to improve function, alleviate pain, and support long-term recovery. This approach is especially beneficial for those experiencing chronic body pain, nervous system dysregulation, post-injury tension, or limited mobility due to chronic holding postures at work. Experience this targeted myofascial massage and address the underlying causes of pain and restrictions once and for all.

MYOFASCIAL RESET
Concussion Care and Nervous System Based Care
(New clients seeking this treatment please request the hour)

The Myofascial Reset Treatment is a manual treatment specifically designed for individuals experiencing persistent symptoms from concussions or other brain-related concerns, including severe migraines or cluster headaches. This treatment is very powerful for those living with concussion symptoms, chronic stress, and challenges with nervous system regulation. This approach utilizes the "Dynamic Brain Healing" ©® protocols. I trained to learn these protocols because these protocols "gave me my life back" after dealing with persistent concussion symptoms myself for 4.5 years. By addressing the brain to support the body, rather than simply treating surface-level symptoms. These protocols create space within the body utilizing, the lymphatic system to effectively target the fascia of the brain and muscles for comprehensive healing. Speaking from both professional and personal experience, traditional massage will not heal someone who has been stuck in post-concussion syndrome for longer than a month. If you desire lasting results, this treatment is tailored for you, moving beyond simply managing symptoms to addressing the root cause of your concerns from head to toe. This is not a one-and-done treatment; however, many clients experience meaningful improvement within one to three sessions.

*These protocols were created by Simone Fortier, owner and practitioner of "The Fascia Training Institute" in Calgary.

Myofascial Reset

Designed for persistent pain, nervous system dysregulation, concussion symptoms, and chronic health concerns.
This approach works with the fascia and nervous system, helping restore communication between the brain and body and supporting long term recovery.

Why Fascia Matters
Fascia is connective tissue that surrounds muscles, nerves, and organs. Injury, stress, or trauma can cause it to become restricted, contributing to pain and reduced mobility.
Myofascial release may help:
-
Reduce chronic pain and stiffness
-
Improve movement and posture
-
Calm an overactive nervous system
-
Improve circulation and tissue healing

Because fascia communicates directly with the nervous system, releasing restrictions can support both physical and neurological healing.
